BOB SCHACHT, LPC

  • Since 2009, a bereavement counselor for patients and families at the Hubbard Hospice House

My counseling approach is to help people develop clearer goals and to find ways to achieve them. I
believe everyone has ways to find success, ways that can help them meet their goals. They have
abilities they can use better and have abilities they have not discovered yet. I provide a confidential,
safe place to laugh, cry, be silent, be angry, express fear, feel joy, or curse if it would be helpful. A
place to be just how they are without any criticism. I work with clients to set a fee than does not
interfere with counseling. I counsel adults with a wide range of needs. In particular, I have
considerable experience helping those with end of life grief. I am a husband, father, and grandfather.
Helping people re-discover fun is a goal for me.
