KPCC in West Virginia
 is the fastest growing elderly population state
in the country

The KPCC-WV client base is:

  • Actively in Transition
    1. In the midst of divorce
    2. Dealing with domestic violence
    3. Working through grief, depression, anxiety, addiction
  • Likely to be without Health Insurance
    1. 54% of our clients have no health insurance
    2. 28% have jobs with no benefits
    3. 25% have household incomes below $15,000 a year
  • In 2004, KPCC-WV provided over $150,000 in subsidies for counseling services to it's clients
    1. These clients had no other financial resources
    2. Over 75% of these clients receive some sort of subsidy from



KPCC-WV clients have an 95% positive approval rating of the services they have received.

Thanks to our client sponsorship fund, we are able to offer 48% of our clients with subsidies so their out of pocket costs are $25 per session.

KPCC-WV is located on Leon Sullivan Way,
named after Charleston's most influential native,
Rev. Leon Sullivan.

Rev. Sullivan helped bring an end to apartheid in South Africa
by creating and advocating for "The Sullivan Principles,"
which have been used world-wide used as a guideline for
making socially responsible business and investment decisions.
