Referrals
KPCC offers a safe and reliable place for you to refer your more difficult
counseling situations. We provide individual, family, child & couples counseling
and have a medical director on staff for medication consultations. With your
parishioner’s permission, we will partner with you to provide excellent
continuity and coordination of counseling and pastoral care. For more

Continuing
Education for Clergy
Once a month, KPCC offers professional workshops on issues important to ministry
today: How to make effective referrals, dealing with suicide, substance abuse,
brief counseling, grief counseling, gambling,
other addictions, pre-marital and couples counseling, creating safe pre-schools.

Clergy
Consultation Groups
Meeting weekly for a series of 6 sessions, KPCC leaders help small peer groups
of clergy use the process of Appreciative Inquiry to help the group members deal
creatively with the specific and unique challenges and opportunities of their
ministry.
CARLA
KPCC is the organizing force behind the Charleston Area Religious Leaders
Association. The group has twenty active members who meet monthly for the
purpose of “building social capital.” For more information on social capital and

Coaching for Clergy
Individual professional coaching for clergy can be an invaluable resource in
meeting your personal and professional goals. Feeling stuck professionally? We
use a positive Appreciative and Solution Oriented approach that provides fast
and energizing results. We have the skills and experience to help you be your
best. Our goal is to help lift you to a higher level.

Days
Three time a year KPCC hosts a clergy wellness event around themes and issues
related to clergy wellbeing and wholeness. Topics include: Reviving Your Call;

Sometimes a congregation can get stuck and can use a new perspective for

Our Critical Incident Support Team can help congregations that have been
