What is Centering Prayer? 
Centering Prayer is a receptive prayer of resting in God. It is at the same time a relationship with God and a discipline to foster that relationship. It is an exercise of faith, hope and love. It is a movement beyond conversation with Christ to communion. It familiarizes us with the language of God which is silence.
