I’m a Nationally Certified Counselor committed to creating conversation concerning mental health and trauma informed care. As a result of personal experiences with trauma and loss I shifted my career to serve as a resource for women and families who have experienced difficulty in their family building journey. My passion to extend the provision of trauma informed care has led to doctoral studies at Ohio University where I’m currently a student. I’m committed to bringing awareness and educating on the prevalence and emotional impact of motherhood, infertility, miscarriage, and pregnancy loss.

Evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy modalities are woven throughout my work. As a strengths-based counselor, I work to help individuals identify skills and strengths currently in use, propelling them to reach goals to achieve emotional, occupational, physical, social, intellectual, and spiritual wellness.

Counseling and meeting individuals where they are is what I’m called to do and is the reason I continually seek opportunities to cultivate my professional identity through education and service. You are not alone, let’s work together to find the path that is right for you.
