Stress Relief Workshops
for Clergy and Churches
Affected by the Floods of July 2001
Critical Incident Stress Debriefing is most effective when done as soon after the event as possible. It is a simple process, mostly in the form of a structured group conversation, which can take between 1 to 3 hours depending on the size of the group. Early intervention can prevent bigger stress problems from developing later on.
We are happy to offer our Stress Relief Workshops to clergy and church.
We have found that the stress for clergy and church workers tends to be
high, since the expectations of themselves and of others is higher.
Over the next few months, the professional staff of
the Kanawha Pastoral Counseling Center will be offering
Stress Relief Workshops
to churches and communities affected by the recent floods.
We are offering these services free of charge.
We will be happy to travel to your location.
Early Stress Relief can prevent bigger problems later on.
