Are you sick and tired of feeling sick and tired? Do you feel like you’re stuck on the struggle bus of this thing we call life and just can’t find the right stop? Are you feeling trapped or feeling like nothing can or will ever get better? Well I have some good news. “Feelings aren’t facts!” That’s one of my favorite mottos. Life is hard sometimes and can feel overwhelming, lonely and scary. Life can also be beautiful, purposeful and meaningful but we can get so stuck in our own heads and lost in our thoughts that we lose sight of what’s important and what really matters sometimes. I have more good news! You do not have to figure it all out on your own or walk this path by yourself. That’s what I’m here for, to help you. My only requirement is that you want to help yourself. Are you ready to take the next step and connect with a caring and compassionate counselor?
I typically work with older adolescents and individual adults. I have a passion for working with diverse populations that include a variety of backgrounds and life experiences. Having a master’s degree in marriage and family therapy, I often incorporate a systemic and/or relational approach when working with clients and take pride in providing a genuine and authentic relationship experience. I practice Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with many clients, but also integrate various other therapeutic techniques and interventions, depending on the client’s specific needs. Mindfulness, choice theory, cognitive behavioral therapy, and person-centered approaches are leading influences in my practice.
