As a Christian Counselor, my primary interest has been to help people utilize their faith in dealing with the issues of life. I have provided Christian Counseling since 1984 in a variety of settings, including: church-sponsored counseling center, private practice, Cancer Treatment Center, inpatient psychiatric center, intensive outpatient programs, and finally here at KPCC. My varied work experience has given me a broad base of knowledge and the ability to help people handle anxiety, depression, grief and loss issues, pre-marital and marital counseling, recovery from affairs, and divorce recovery.
I am a Certified Gottman Method Couples Therapist. This research-based method offers couples proven information and techniques to help them find the ‘Better Relationships’ they seek. I , have also taken additional training from the Gottman Institute, and have been endorsed as ‘Gottman Seven Principles Program Educators’ and ‘Gottman Bringing Baby Home Educators.’ I am passionate about helping people do well in their marriages and am available to present both the Seven Principles Program and the Bringing Baby Home program to your church or civic group.
